​The National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (NCSR “Demokritos”) is the largest multidisciplinary research center in Greece, with critical mass in expertise and infrastructure in the fields of Nanotechnology, Energy & Environment, Biosciences, Particle and Nuclear Science, Informatics and Telecommunications.

NCSRD is the Project Coordinator and Technical Manager as well as a Technology Provider. The Integrated Systems Laboratory (ISL) of NCSRD has strong system integration capabilities, proved in a series of EU funded projects and will be responsible for the final system integration. Furthermore, NCSRD will integrate the agent-based game mechanics and simulation engine, EEG device integration, personalisation features, RFID-based indoor localisation and will participate in the performance analytics implementation.

Finally, NCSRD will be responsible for the development of the cloud-based database and web portal.

Cortechs brings into FocusLocus the product: “Zip and the Misty Mountain” which is a 2D runner game powered by the brain, which can train kids to use attention and relaxation levels as rewards, and thus being a reliable tool to improve children focus. ​

Fundació Sant Joan de Déu (FSJD)

Fundació Sant Joan de Déu (FSJD) is a non-profit research institution whose primary goal is to contribute to the improvement of people's health and welfare mainly in the areas of Mental Health and Maternal and Child Health. Accordingly, the Foundation works jointly with the hospitals and other centres of Sant Joan de Déu, as the Children Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (HSJD) and Mental Health and Adult General Hospital Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu (PSSJD), to expand scientific knowledge and to improve the care given to people who suffer health problems. The Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders Unit (UTDAH) is part of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology at HSJD. It is a National Reference Unit in Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD) receiving annually more than 400 new cases of patients with a diagnosis of ADHD.

FSJD is the project's main involved stakeholder in the field of ADHD treatment and will be responsible for the pilot definition and implementation and contribute to the definition of performance related metrics and criteria.​

​Cognitive Systems Research Institute

The Cognitive Systems Research Institute (CSRI) is a non-governmental, non-profit research institute that specializes in the highly interdisciplinary field of Cognitive Systems. The Institute carries a unique expertise in this field, which is related to bridging the gap between language, perception and action for biology inspired intelligent technology.

CSRI will provide its expertise on multisensory perception, temporal processing, and attentional processing. CSRI will contribute in the development of cognitively-inspired games, in the adaptation of cognitive training tasks targeting specific skills to a gaming platform, in the design of pilots for game playing in ADHD children, in the development of multisensory gaming environments, and in the evaluation of obtained behavioural data and transfer of learning.
