The FocusLocus Prototype Demonstration workshop took place on Wednesday 25 April 2018 and was hosted at the premises of NCSR “Demokritos” in Athens.

The FocusLocus Executive Board & General Assembly Meeting took place on 12 February 2018 and was hosted at the premises of NCSR “Demokritos” in Athens. Consortium partners that were not able to physically attend the workshop, had the option to attend it via a remote connection.
On 29 September 2017, NCSRD will take part in the annual Researcher’s Night event, which is attended by thousands of visitors, which for the most part consist of school age children.

During August 2017, the EU Commission approved a request for an amendment to the FocusLocus Grant Agreement, which officially seals the introduction of Fundació Sant Joan de Déu (FSJD) into the FocusLocus Consortium!
During July 2017 NCSRD hosted an annual summer camp for school students that focuses on Science, Mathematics, Art, Robotics and Technology (SMART Camp).

NCSRD participated in the Athens Science Festival (ASF) from 29/3/2017 and until 2/4/2017. ASF gives the opportunity to visitors from the wider area of Athens, to explore science in fun, innovative and interactive ways.
