Digital Learning Participatory Meeting

On 27 March 2017, FocusLocus was represented by NCSRD in a participatory meeting about Digital Learning at the premises of the EU Commission in Luxembourg. Project Coordinators of all active H2020 projects that are managed by Unit G3 Learning, Multilingualism & Accessibility, of the Directorate-General CONNECT of the EU Commission were invited. The participants were informed about the Commission’s current efforts and priorities in the area of Digital Learning and were given the opportunity to present the work performed in the participating projects. The event also included a networking and clustering session in the form of interactive workshops that allowed participants to hold productive discussions and exchange experiences and knowledge gained through the H2020 projects. The workshops focused on the identification of current challenges and synergies in the field of gaming for learning, the implementation of Learning Analytics, the assessment of STEAM skills and the application of Augmented Reality and Wearable technologies in the context of learning. FocusLocus representatives from NCSRD joined all workshop clusters, sharing experiences and thoughts on the topics discussed, while opportunities for interfacing FocusLocus with other H2020 projects emerged that can lead to added benefits.
